Since 1997 Zoo District has been venturing out into the art wilderness to bring back to our audiences unique, vital and exciting theatre driven by language, image, movement, music and resonant action. Our commitment to cutting edge work continues with our 2003 season.

In the past, Zoo District has depended on tickets sales to cover up to 75% of all operating expenses. Now as a registered not-for-profit theatre company we are eligible for grants from foundations and corporations. But foundation and corporate support takes time to develop and is only a part of the picture. We need your support to produce our new season of theatre.

Zoo District takes its name from an area in Berlin featured in Bertolt Brecht's Drums in The Night - the seedy, downtrodden, low-rent section of town inhabited largely by artists and free thinkers where revolution first erupts. Support Zoo District and keep the revolution in Los Angeles theatre alive!
