Imagine you are nine years old and suddenly King of one of the most powerful nations the world has ever known.
This is an intimate look at the life of Tutankhamen. His father, Akhenaten, eradicated the old Religion and
incurred the enmity of the Priesthood, he was declared a heretic and his memory erased from the official records.
His stepmother, Nefertiti, was the most beautiful woman in the ancient world. His general was one of the strongest
Egypt had known, his Prime Minister had his own agenda and was powerful enough to act on it. What is it like growing
up in a world where you can have anything you want, where your slightest whim is national law? All of this and more
is explored through the use of exciting, dynamic choreography with music and text, together combined to present
a singular vision of Egyptian life during one of the most tumultuous periods in ancient Egypt. There is intrigue,
and plotting and survival. Who can you trust? Who do you turn to? Find out in 'The BoyKing'.
