KRISTI SCHULTZ joined Zoo
District as a performer in the 2003 production of The Bloody
Chamber . Prior to arriving in Los Angeles, Kristi was a founding member of The Hunger Artists in New York City. While in New York, Kristi developed original work as a choreographer and director and also worked regionally as a musical theatre performer. Her extensive education includes a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University.
In Los Angeles, Kristi has been
an arts educator with Bluepalm. She is a continuing
faculty/staff member of the Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre, and she recently served as director/choreographer for the HWS Rembiko Project in Edinburgh, Scotland. For Zoo District, she is a producer, director, performer, and administrator (see Kristi Webber, Managing Director). She is looking forward to Zoo District's second decade of inspired work.
